1. Ask your child: ¿Tienes mascota? (Do you have a pet?) They should answer "Sí, tengo un/una _____ ." (Yes, I have a ____) or "No, no tengo mascota." (No, I don't have a pet.)
2. Ask your child: ¿Qué dice el perro? (What does the dog say?) and see if s/he can make the correct animal sound.
